Throughout our farming history, there has been one element that has never changed, and that is our passion for growing the finest produce we are able to. The farm takes pride in producing high quality products whilst taking the environment and the wellbeing of the countryside into account. Farming is at the heart of The Olde Red Lion, with the original farmyard based only meters away from the Pub's front door.

Barley to Beer

We’re proud to supply a number of British beer producers with malting barley for their beers. Some of those we take pleasure in selling behind the bar at The Olde Red Lion. Traceability of the food and drink we eat is something we strongly believe in, as Britain holds the highest standards of regulation for food safety in the world.

Our Suppliers

If we don’t produce it ourselves, we endeavor, wherever possible, to locally source all the ingredients that find their way onto our customers plate. We have supplied our crops to some of our suppliers for over 80 years and we’re incredibly proud to now be working with these companies in a different capacity.

Sue Horner

Business
Manager

Sue has a background in business finance and accountancy, most recently having worked for a local charity. Sue has a passion for coffee, cake and gin, giving her the perfect credentials for being captain of the ship.

Fabio Telo

Head
Chef

Fabio was born in Portugal and moved over to the UK in 2003. Fabio is a self-motivated team leader, a driving force behind our menus and committed to delivering stunning meals.

Robin Mitchell

Assistant 
Manager

Robin is the only person from Yorkshire that doesn’t drink tea, although fortunately she can make a cracking brew. She is qualified in Health and Social care, and is looking forward to welcoming all the local Kislingbury residents into the Café!
